JD Of L2 Engineer
3 to 5+ years of experience in a network security role in organizations with large networks
Good knowledge of network security technologies, specifically firewalls, internet proxies, IPS, and other security platforms
Experience in configuring, managing and supporting firewalls implementation and policies using Security devices/solutions
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, IP Addressing, routing, IP inter-networking technologies: Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP, EIGRP), Multicast, VPN, ACLs, NAT, VRRP, NSRP
Knowledge of VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree protocol
Experience with Authentication services such as TACACS+, RADIUS, and RSA SecurID.
Experience maintaining and configuring firewalls (CheckPoint, Cisco PIX, Netscreen)
Experience with Network management tools like Arc Sight, NetIQ, OpenView, Netcool etc
Strong customer service orientation
Individual must be able to deal with a highly demanding client base and set client expectations
Knowledge on Compliance like ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL etc
VAPT Experience is an added advantage
Certifications/Knowledge
Certifications: CCNA with 3 years experience in SOC
